Happy Cats of Wellington Terms & Conditions


1. Rates & Services

30-minute visit – £10

Includes feeding, fresh water, litter tray check and clean, playtime, grooming, and companionship.

Second 30-minute visit (AM/PM) – £8

Extended visits (by prior arrangement):

45 minutes – £14

60 minutes – £18

Plant watering and bin/recycling duties are included in the above rates, subject to discussion at the introduction visit.


2. Additional Services

End-of-sitting light cleaning using my own Purdy and Figg cleaning products (downstairs hoovering, surface cleaning, bathroom/toilet clean, dishwashing, loading/unloading dishwasher) – £12

Welcome home care package (milk, bread, eggs, juice) – £10 (additional items charged at cost + £0.20 per item)

Laundry service (1 load: wash, dry, fold) – £10


3. Introduction Visit

A pre-booking introduction visit will take place the week before your holiday.

This allows me to meet you and your cat(s) and discuss:

4. Insurance & Credentials

I am fully insured with Protectivity. I am a qualified nurse and health visitor registered with the NMC and hold an enhanced DBS check through my council employment working with vulnerable adults and children.


5. Keys & Home Access

A set of keys (front door and any required access points) will be collected at the introduction visit.

Keys will be securely stored for the duration of care in case of delays or emergencies.

Keys will be returned once you confirm you are safely home, either by agreed handover or letter box posting.

Alternatively, keys can be stored in a locked safe for future bookings or emergency use.

I accept no liability for loss or damage relating to keys once they have been returned or securely stored as agreed.


6. Payment Terms

A 20% non-refundable non-transferable deposit is required to secure all bookings. This confirms your booking and reserves your dates.

The remaining balance is due within 5 days of the final visit. An invoice will be provided.

Payment methods: bank transfer or cash.

Late or non-payment may result in refusal of future bookings.


7. Cancellations

Cancellations with less than 7 days notice will require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the next booking.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will require full non-refundable prepayment at the next booking.


8. Visit Timing

Exact visit times cannot be guaranteed unless medication is time-sensitive.

Visits outside these times must be agreed in advance.

Each visit includes the full booked duration from arrival to departure.


9. Medical Care & Emergencies

I am experienced in administering medication, which will be discussed at the introduction visit.If your cat becomes unwell, I will:

In emergencies where contact cannot be made, I will act in the best interest of your cat’s welfare and seek immediate veterinary attention.

You authorise emergency veterinary treatment up to £___ (please confirm amount at introduction visit).

All veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the owner and are payable directly to the vet. Please provide:


10. Transportation

Transportation will only be provided in the event of a veterinary emergency.

A suitable cat carrier must be accessible at all times.


11. Vaccinations, Flea & Worming

All cats must be fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatments.

This helps protect your cat, my own animals, and other clients’ pets.


12. Feeding & Supplies

Please ensure sufficient food is available for the duration of care.

If additional food is required, it will be purchased and charged accordingly.

For frozen food, I will defrost the next portion as needed.


13. Treats & Water

Treats will be provided unless otherwise requested.

Fresh water will be provided daily. If your cat uses a fountain, please demonstrate its use during the introduction visit.


14. Play, Enrichment & Care

Each visit includes interaction tailored to your cat’s personality, including:

15. Outdoor Access

If your cat has outdoor access, I cannot guarantee they will be present during visits. I will:

20. Cameras & Monitoring

I understand some clients use home cameras.

I have no objection to being recorded during visits, however I ask that any footage is not shared publicly or on social media.


21. Data Protection (GDPR)

Client details are stored securely and used solely for the purpose of providing pet care services.

Information will never be shared with third parties unless required for emergency veterinary treatment.


22. Agreement

By booking my services, you agree to the above Terms & Conditions.

A signed copy will be completed at the introduction visit.
